The LSD Mono is our new-generation micro drift chassis, launched in 2026. It carries forward the signature design language and high quality of the LSD series, while introducing multiple optimizations and innovations in both structure and tuning.
This release comes in two color options: khaki green with titanium accents, and black with silver accents. Moving away from the high-saturation color schemes commonly seen in the RC world, we’ve adopted a more refined and understated palette to deliver a fresh visual style and a more premium overall feel.
Features:
1.In terms of structural design, Mono features a simplified steering system with a direct-drive setup. By adjusting the servo mount’s height, angle, and front-to-back position, users can fine-tune steering characteristics and flexibly adjust the front weight distribution to suit different tuning needs.
2.The suspension system of Mono is compatible with traditional upright shock absorbers, and it also supports the optional horizontal (lay-down) shock setup, a signature of LSD. After multiple generations of refinement, the horizontal suspension has significantly improved in sensitivity and response, providing more direct feedback for precise control.
3.In terms of size and compatibility, Mono offers a wider adjustment range. The wheelbase is adjustable from 90 mm to 114 mm, while the track width ranges from about 67 mm (with 0.5° narrow wheels) to 94 mm (with 3.5° wide wheels).
It also supports optional upgrades such as a magnetic body mount system and the Mini-Z front clip (L-lock) mounting structure, further enhancing compatibility and versatility.
4.In terms of detail design, Mono continues the simulated brake setup from the LSD Plaid. By repositioning the front brake calipers further back, it achieves a more realistic, true-to-life look.
The front knuckle structure has also been optimized, so the calipers no longer need to be paired with the steering cups. This improves overall precision while maintaining a consistent scale appearance.
5.In terms of electronic component layout, Mono offers a wider range of installation options, allowing for greater flexibility and ease in the overall vehicle arrangement. The newly added high-mounted equipment rack (OP) can also be utilized to adjust the vehicle's center of gravity, thereby opening up additional possibilities for tuning.
